This penguin wire sculpture is made from one continuous piece of wire and attached to the driftwood base shown in the photo.

I do not mount the sculptures on canvas, paper, or plywood and they don’t require a frame. I do not paint my sculptures, so solvents are not used. The sculptures are very light therefore shipping takes less energy. I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that it is kind to the environment as well.

Because I sculpt with an assortment of discarded wire, I cannot guarantee this piece is rust-proof. I enjoy the rust patina, but if you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of clear spray varnish may be applied.
