This butterfly wire sculpture is made from 16 gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base. This piece can be displayed as a wall or table top piece.
Length: 4.25 inches- length of driftwood, Width: 6 inches- wingspan, Height: 2.5 inches.

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

It is my hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well.
