Bear with Salmon Wire Sculpture

Made using one strand of 16-gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base.

Dimensions: Height-6 inches, Length-10 inches (nose to tail), Depth-4 inches

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. I sculpt with steel wire, so this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well. I avoid using paints and solvents, and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
