This tender sculpture is of a wire sculpture bunny smelling a flower. It is made of 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on the driftwood base shown in the photo.

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

I avoid using paints and solvents and try to reuse packing/shipping materials. I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment.
