This little hen wire sculpture is made from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base.

Length: 7.5 inches, Width/Depth: 2.5 inches, Height: 8.5 inches

Sculpting with wire lets me define form and suggest movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, you can apply a light coat of clear spray varnish.

I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well. I avoid paints and solvents, and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
