This howling wolf wildlife wire sculpture is made from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire. This sculpture stands 8 inches tall, 8 inches long, and is 4 inches wide.

It is created with one strand of 16-gauge steel wire using pliers. Each three-dimensional sculpture is inspired by nature. I work in a minimal style, eliminating all but the most essential aspects of the piece, an abstraction and a simplification, just realistic enough to fill in with one’s memories from lived experiences. I mount most pieces on an interesting piece of driftwood gleaned from the shores of Lake Superior.

I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well.
