This handmade doe and fawn wire sculpture is a tender scene created using 16 gauge steel wire and is attached to a unique piece of driftwood.

Sculpting with wire allows me to define forms and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.
I avoid the use of paints and solvents and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.

It is my hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well.
