Dragonfly Wire Sculpture
Made from a continuous strand of 16 gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base. Can be displayed as a wall or tabletop piece.
Length: 5 inches- eyes to tail, Width: 5 inches- wingspan, Depth: 1.5 inch
Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.
