This dragonfly wire sculpture is made from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base. It can be displayed as a wall or table piece.
Length: 4.75 inches- length of driftwood, Width: 5 inches- wingspan, Depth: 1 inch
Sculpting with wire allows me to define forms and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.
