This dachshund dog wire sculpture is made from a continuous 16-gauge steel wire strand attached to a unique driftwood base.

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement, as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, you can apply a light coating of clear spray varnish.
