This butterfly wire sculpture is made with 16 gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base. This piece can be displayed as a wall or table piece.
Length: 6.5 inches- length of driftwood, Width: 5.5 inches- wingspan, Depth: 2 inches

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.
