This rising trout wire sculpture is hand-made from 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on a unique driftwood base.
Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coat of clear spray varnish can be applied.
I hope my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment. I avoid using paints and solvents and try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
