This dog wire sculpture is crafted from a single continuous piece of 16-gauge steel wire and is attached to the driftwood base shown in the photo.

My wire sculptures are one-of-a-kind, three-dimensional drawings. They delight viewers as their appearance changes with the angle and lighting.

I do not mount the sculptures on canvas, paper, or plywood, and they don’t require a frame. I do not paint my sculptures, so I do not use solvents. The sculptures are very light; therefore, shipping takes less energy. I hope my work reflects my love of the natural world and is also kind to the environment.

I sculpt with steel wire; therefore, this piece is not rust-proof. Personally, I enjoy the rust patina, but if you prefer to protect your piece from rust, you can apply a coating of clear acrylic spray varnish.
