This dog wire sculpture (Riley) is crafted from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on a distinctive driftwood base.

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coat of clear spray varnish can be applied.

I hope my work reflects my love of the natural world, and my methods are environmentally friendly. I avoid using paints and solvents, and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
