This hound dog wire sculpture is crafted from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on a distinctive driftwood base. Height: 7.5 inches, Width: 11 inches, Depth: 3 inches

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are also kind to the environment. I avoid using paints and solvents, and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
