This running pig wire sculpture is made from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on a unique driftwood base. Height: 4.75 inches, Width: 11.5 inches, Depth: 3 inches
Sculpting with wire allows me to define forms and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coat of clear spray varnish can be applied.
I hope my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are environmentally friendly as well.
