This hunting dog wire sculpture is crafted from a continuous strand of 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on a distinctive driftwood base.

Sculpting with wire lets me define form and suggest movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, you can apply a light coat of clear spray varnish.

I hope my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are also kind to the environment. I avoid using paints and solvents, and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
