This handmade doe and fawn wire sculpture depicts a tender scene, crafted from 16-gauge steel wire and mounted on a unique piece of driftwood.

Sculpting with wire lets me define forms and suggest movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, you may apply a light coating of clear spray varnish.
I avoid paints and solvents, and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
