This handmade Doe and Fawn wire sculpture is a tender scene, created from 16-gauge steel wire and attached to a unique piece of driftwood. The video is of a similar sculpture.

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

It is my hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well. I avoid using paints and solvents and try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
