This "Bass under a Lily Pad" is created with 16 gauge steel wire. It is designed to hang using fishline with a swivel attachment- included. This piece is handmade by Bud so dimensions may vary. The approximate dimensions of the hanging sculpture is: Height: 8", Width: 10” (length of fish), Depth: 5" (width of lilypad)

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

It is my hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well. I avoid the use of paints and solvents and I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
