The Grand Marais Arts Festival is an annual festival hosted by the Grand Marais Art Colony. The Art Colony hosts this event to celebrate the vibrant legacy of art on the North Shore of Lake Superior, and to provide opportunities to learn more about art through dialogue, demonstrations, and hands-on art activities.
This year marks the 30th annual Arts Festival. We are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to hold a live festival this year and will be making the appropriate accommodations for large group gatherings as outlined by the State of Minnesota and the CDC.
This year, the festival will be relocated to the parking lots of ISD 166, 101 W. 5th Street, due to a road construction project and to allow for additional space necessary to have this event in person.
